About
Babe's Honey Farm was founded in 1945 by Babe & Charlie Warren with a small loan from a credit union and single beehive Charlie found in the forest. They spent their lives building Western Canada's favorite bee farm and provided Vancouver Island with local honey for over 75 years.

Same Babe's, less building
On the morning of August 6, 2025, a transport truck came off Blenkinsop Road, took down the power poles, and crashed into the Galey Farms market building destroying our Saanich shop and our honey production facility but, nobody was hurt.
Here's the news coverage
We salvaged what we could and moved everything to our Sidney location and ran a pop-up shop out of the parking lot all winter. Now Galey Farms has made room for us in their market. Same shelf, less building.
We won't pretend it's been smooth. We're smaller than we were and stretched thin. We're not back to normal, and we don't know exactly what's next, but we're working it. In the meantime, our Sidney shop has the full lineup: bulk honey refills, and our drinks on tap so come see us out there!
To all of our customers who've kept buying our products and cheering us on through all of it: thank you. You're the reason we kept going.
We appreciate your continued support!
